PriusMED demonstrates live-streaming Critical Care data at Crisis City

Salina, Kansas – August 9, 2024

PriusMED successfully demonstrated its technology at Crisis City, a training facility operated by the Kansas Division of Emergency Management. The demonstration, which live-streamed critical care data and video, was made possible through an invitation from the state of Kansas and Joe Hernandez, founder and lead instructor at Disaster Medical Solutions, known for his work with FEMA US&R.

At the event, PriusMED’s medCLOUD™ platform underwent testing in challenging disaster conditions, navigating debris and concrete piles. The platform, which combines real-time patient data with telepresence capabilities, was also tested during simulated search and rescue scenarios.

Athena GTX provided the source monitor for the Crisis City demonstration.

“Our technology performed exceptionally well, even in the most demanding conditions,” said Dan Mihai, CTO of PriusMED. “The successful simulations with search and rescue teams highlighted how our platform can offer immediate support from remote medical teams, enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of first responders.”

PriusMED’s patented live-streaming platform can be customized and integrated with an organization’s existing technologies.
