Dr. Bradley Carlson joins PriusMED’s advisory board

Scientific accolades, a wealth of know-how in the field, and an all-around welcoming and kind personality are what Brad Carlson brings to the table as newest addition to PriusMED’s board of advisers. Brad with his impressive background will provide key input and support in the technical and engineering areas, as well as establish thought leadership in the space.

Dr. Bradley Carlson, being an accomplished R&D executive and researcher with more than three decades in the field – especially focused on medical device design and imaging – is VP of Technology and Business Development at Intelligent Product Solutions. Prior to IPS, he was VP of R&D for LivaNova Neuromodulation where he led the development of the first VNS (vagus nerve stimulation) connected platform and associated digital infrastructure, and the development of HGNS (hypoglossal nerve stimulation) for sleep apnea. He was Associate Professor as part of the faculty of the ECE department at the University at Stony Brook. Brad holds a PhD in computer engineering from Syracuse University. He is inventor on 52 issued US patents and author on 41 refereed articles.
