As part of the National Urban Search & Rescue Conference the Medical Special Operations Community recently highlighted the needs of disaster response teams, the opportunities for technological development in this market, and the health care continuum in general. PriusMED live-streamed real-time vital signs on stage, creating a surge in demand for our technology and platform, The Virtual Emergency Room.
Collaborating with Athena GTX monitors as vital signs source, we demonstrated streaming real-time vitals combined with two-way audio/video during a 90 minute presentation in front of the actual experts, from various Disaster Response Medical Teams. This capability enables immediate telemedicine decisions or detailed reviews later, significantly enhancing the efficiency of remote medical care, not only in “rubble pile” or entrapment situations.
A special thank you to MSOC for inviting us to showcase our development and for allowing us to demonstrate the capabilities, how our technology delivers telehealth anytime, anywhere.
Thank you to everyone who visited us and the many questions we were able to field and answer. We are eager to continue pushing the boundaries of telehealthcare, together.
